Prior Service question(s)

I served on active duty from 1995-1999, and for 6 months in 2002.(recalled from IRR). Got out as a E5. I am now 33 years old.

If possible, I would like to join the reserve unit here in St. Louis. I was originally a 1833(AAV's). I know they don't have them here.

What would be my options in joining the reserves as prior service?

there seems to be a lot of boat space on the reserve side so go for it. find a squared away PSR and pull the trigger! Good Luck Marine S/F



you may take a hit on the rank side of things if there are no billets available for an E5, depends on how bad you want in!
