As a female ultramarathoner and firefighter, I can take a lot of stress. I don't want a desk job; what is a difficult combat job I could do..MP? One day I'd like to go to EOD. Also, is height a big factor, being 5'3''?

Thank you.

Finksburg! Not far from me! What company do you run with in Carroll County?

There are other MOS's besides MP, too. Have you talked to a Recruiter yet?

I actually volunteered in VA by my college, but there's not enough time to join in Finksburg before leaving for bootcamp. My recruiter is in the airwing, and it seems to me that many females are put there and in intel; however, I need to be up and running instead of at a desk. I'm here for some real experience.

Maybe you should have tried the Navy Hospital Corps instead of the Marines. Do you also have EMT training? See link ,there are female Marine units in Afganistan and maybe a Marine here can give you more info.
