Hi Marines. I hope that this is the right place to post this request.
Please follow the link to the Pespi "Good Idea" poll. The winner will receive 250K .... not an amount of money to laugh at.
Could you stop by and cast a vote for the "Purple Heart Family Support" ... here's info taken from the page. Right now we are in 10th place and voting lasts until the last day of April. This proposed idea was submitted by MarineParents.com ....

Your votes would really help... but it is a daily vote, so if you can take the time to vote each day that would be great. There is a simple registration at the site needed in order to cast a vote.

Overview
While Wounded Warriors are hospitalized, life is not always comfortable. Mess halls are closed during the weekends leaving Warriors and their families without a convenient place to eat, and for those experiencing new disabilities, simple clothing can become binding and difficult. Families are overwhelmed with emotions and are flooded with information. Purple Heart Family Support has proudly served those who have served us by providing over 6,000 meals to Wounded Warriors and their families, creating a Learning Center with accessible terminology, action plans, and coping resources, and by designing a wellness guide used to catalog information relating to a Marine’s recovery. PHFS desires to expand to provide 4 military hospitals with 20,000 meals, disability minded clothing, and wellness guides while giving families ways to connect via online community. With our assistance, Wounded Warriors and their families experience a healthy recovery.
How will the 250K be Used?

All administrative expenses, program support labor costs, background checks for volunteers, and managing the fiscal aspects will be covered by MarineParents.com, Inc.
