Haha Whatley's still on the drill field? I was with his first cycle back in Sept. 2007 when he was still a SGT.

04-06-10, 07:28 AM
Wow thats crazy. Yeh my platoon was his last cycle. He's going to NC now, maybe lejuene. He was a great Drill Instructer, taught me alot and he loved drill, he had a real passion for it. Great Marine.

Congratulations Marine!

I graduated right beside him, platoon 2016. Feels good to be home, but feels better to know that we've earned it. And I can definitely attest to trying to stay awake in class, all these comments are making me laugh because they're actually legit - sniffing hand sanitizer, putting it under your nose, sleeping with your eyes open...it literally gets to those points, haha. It's all fun and games until you're caught sleeping by the Company 1st Sgt and you get called out like a mofo in front of your drill instructors and everyone - so you can only imagine what happens when the platoon gets back to the squadbay - or hell, on the head and water call breaks in between classes. YOU WANT TO FALL ASLEEP IN CLASS AND NOT LISTEN TO THE CO. 1ST SGT? THAT'S ALRIGHT, DON'T WORRY, WE'LL FIX THAT. BLOUSE. OFF, *****. FACE!!!!!!!!!!

haha, good stuff man. Congratulations again, and it was good seein ya there man.
