10 Years ago this month I went to boot camp on Paradise Island. I'm in Florida now, not too far from SC. I was wondering if anyone would know if I could tour the base, or are there too many restrictions right now. My thought was to bring my bike and spin around the old stomping grounds.... See what kind of memories get jarred up...

Any help is appreciated...

I haven't been on a Marine Corps base since 911, went to an army on, in El Paso, and the hessle wasn't worth it. But I know Marines are always welcomed home. Just as long as you have proper ID and insurance, etc, I dont see why you shouldn't be allowed entrance.

Best thing to do is cal the base itself and see!

Perris island?

Sorry went to San Diego!

Welcome Aboard Art and as Sparrowhawk stated I don't
think you'll have a problem getting on base with proper
I.D. and proof of insurance. Looks like we might of been
in at the same time because this year was my 10th too.
