*Thanks Rocky for the thread title!

Growing up I had a lot of exposure to the Corps, my father would always have all the Marines from the detachment over on weekends for a couple of brews and all that good stuff. Being as young as I was, I didn't really have friends outside of school, so whenever they all came over they treated me as if I was the most dedicated Devil Pup you could find. Based on those experiences, along with a little personal research I would like to humbly present you with this slide show as a little bit of a thank you. As I watched how the Marine brotherhood worked (in small events, never fully grasping it) while my father raised me on the core values of Honor, Courage, and Commitment, stressing integrity and attention to detail I decided when I was about eight years old, that hopefully, someday I'll be able to call myself a Marine. So thank you Marines, for everything. Here is a small collection of photos that [to me, from the outside looking in] display the Corps, and how I saw it throughout my childhood. I consider myself to be raised by the Corps, and I hope someday I can become a part of it.
