I don't know if this is the right place to post this but please advise if I made a mistake.

I am 21 years old from Arcadia, CA. I want to enlist in the US Marines and talk to a local recruiter this week. I was told their are a lot of recruiters that just lie to get you in but does anyone know any honest ones in my area? Is it a bad idea to enlist as a Infantry Man? thank you.

Make sure you fill out your profile because none of the Marines will give you answers until they know who they're talking to and make sure you only post questions like these in the Ask A Marine forum and there's also the search function that you can use to find a ton of info on most of the questions you might have. If there was before, there's no need to now. Any MC recruiting office has a line out the door... if you really don't want to join they're just going to go to the next person in line and still make their quotas easily.
