View Full Version : I have one kidney and want to serve.
I was born with one kidney and I have no physical problems. I can perform was well or better than everyone at poolie pt. Im not signed up but I have been going there to train. I really want to become a Marine and I've been hearing different things. My recruiter tells me whats in the book but another recruiter says I can get a waiver after being checked out at MEPS. I really appreciate anyone who can give me info thanks.

You can get a waiver...however they are really not looking for any new Marines now so you may have to wait some time. However that may be the best thing for you. I would go to a private doctor for an evaluation to prove your fine. Scout around to a bunch of recruiters tell em your delema and pick the best one to pursue your future for you. You will get in just may take some time. Good luck any question ask.
