Help me out please……
OK here is my situation. I have access to a government computer and it allows me to get on leatherneck.com but will not let me view yahoo, cbssportsline , esp.com or any other good stuff. It is all blocked. I am a big Cav’s Fan and also March Madness will be starting soon.
If you have the time can you copy and paste the standings of the NBA and league Leaders…you know Lebron should be leading the points I hope. Go Cavs and thanks…

DI

Any other sports news you have will be appreciated also……..!!!! Semper Fi!!!!!!

If you do not care for all the scuttlebutt in the SD Union go to this site:

Sign On San Diego and you can just read the sports section. I live in Nevada, but my son is a high school coach in San Diego and I read the sports page daily.

The main news stations, CNN, FOX, MSNBC are allowed then click on the sports page, it will not block.

Are you having problems getting through a firewall or something, Master Sergeant?

If so, you can try this site to get around that problem. https://www.xbypass.info/index.php

Or depending on what operating system you're running on, try Hotspot Shield. http://hotspotshield.com/ It is a download for your computer, and when you turn it on it will hide your IP address.

Good luck, Semper Fi

Trust me all sites are blocked with categories of sports, news, just about everything.
I can get to a bank account and luckily to leatherneck.com. The rumor is in a few months the only sites I will be able to access are .mil sites. By then, we should have some type of internet for our personal computers.

For now this site is my news and sports.......

By the time someone sends me a newspaper it will be a month old. Obviously I am not currently in the states to get a newspaper.

By the time someone sends me a newspaper it will be a month old. Obviously I am not currently in the states to get a newspaper.

Oh, I just figured that out.
Let me see what I can do for you.
Can you open Links???
Can you receive live feeds if I send them to you???

Do you know what "iGoogle" is? It's a customizable homepage by Google, found right at google.com. If Google's blocked on your computer... well, I'd be really surprised. Just go to Google, and in the upper right there should be something about iGoogle. From there, you should be able to add the "Sports Scores" gadget which should be able to give you all the information you want.

As a side note, you could probably talk to one of the G6 guys to get a specific site unblocked. If they're being stingy about it, pick a site that most people don't know about (so they don't have to worry about everyone finding out and using it) and talk to a lower-ranking Marine (I'd recommend a Cpl, they're high enough to be able to make decisions like that without being too high to not actually make changes).

And THAT is why NMIC is G A Y and losing their contract soon

In 2005 NMCI blocked a website I was making, no one on the internet even knew about it, just some little project site I was doing and the network geeks happened to monitor my activity and blocked it. Yet again, today they have blocked another one of my websites.... their reason, none.

I can't wait for the day that EDS NMCI is gone. Such a waste of government money on them

Side note, try proxy.org or anything proxy related. That will get you around the stupid domain filter.

Come on Tin I am not an idiot. Here is what it says when I try your suggestion.
The rating for the website you have attempted to access is currently restricted. Attemtped access may violate your internet usage policy.

I can get to google but nothing past that.

I think the reason I get to leatherneck.com is because the camp I am on is called Task Force Leatherneck and that word is a good word.

I do not need any suggestions...THEY WILL NOT WORK HERE. Soon I may lose this site but while I have it, I just like to come and read some updated scores. Thats it....just some scores man.

By the time someone sends me a newspaper it will be a month old. Obviously I am not currently in the states to get a newspaper.

You guys don't have any morale computers? If not, that's EFFED up. I mean, with today's tech you should be able to pay all of your bills, check bank accounts etc even from 12 time zones away like I did when I was in Kyrgyzstan a couple of years ago.

The college basketball season is winding down, so March Madness hasn't started yet.....soon though!

Here are some latest NBA stats according to ESPN as of this morning...

Townley

<!-- /.node -->

He apologized to NASCAR and his Richard Childress Racing team in a statement issued late in Saturday's race by his race team.
"I made a big mistake and feel terrible about it," he said. "I have learned a valuable lesson and will do everything I can to make it up to those I have let down."
Car owner Richard Childress said Townley made an error in judgment that will be handled internally at RCR.
"Drivers are human and make mistakes like everyone else. However, we do not condone his behavior," Childress said.
Townley finished 15th in Saturday's race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.
Newman still positive
Ryan Newman's aggregate results so far this year are worse than they were in 2009, but Newman has reason to feel better about them.
The innocent victim of a late-race wreck, Newman finished 34th in the season-opening Daytona 500 this year. He was 36th last week at Fontana, thanks to an engine failure. Nevertheless, the performance of his cars before the calamities has provided ample reason for optimism.
"I go in and have a good attitude, and everybody else has a good attitude and knowing what happened to us was poor luck," Newman said after qualifying third for Sunday's Shelby American Cup race at Las Vegas Motor Speedway. "I mean, at Daytona we got crashed, and we lost an engine there at [Fontana]. So, it's tough.
"And we know where we were at this time last year [after finishing 36th and 28th in the first two races] and it's about the same spot. [But] we've run a lot better than we did last year. It's only two races, but either way, it kind of gives you an idea.
"Our biggest satisfaction was at [Fontana], knowing that we had a car that was a top-five race car. We worked our way towards the front every run and lost that engine. But that in itself has kept us from having to worry about attitude or that mentality of 'what are we going to do?'"

hey Top not sure if you have secret squirrel access, but if you do, they post sports and Marine Corps times and everything else out there for you to see. we used that when we were in Iraq to keep our sanity when spending 2-3 months at a time on Mobile CP's with no MWR or unclass access, hope this helps.

Rookie Rankings: Matthews handed reins in Utah
By Drew Packham, NBA.com
Posted Mar 3 2010 4:00PM
Wesley Matthews' unbelievable rookie season with the Jazz just keeps getting better.
Earlier this season Matthews had surprisingly become a fixture in the Jazz's rotation, starting in 19 games thanks to his attitude of doing "whatever you need me to do." But at the trade deadline, the Jazz dealt three-year veteran Ronnie Brewer to the Memphis Grizzlies, in essence sending Matthews a message: You're our guy.
"Everybody was mad," Matthews told Kevin Arnovitz of ESPN.com's TrueHoop. "I was mad and I benefited the most out of it. Brewer was like my older brother. We still talk every day. He took me under his wing as soon as I stepped foot here in Utah."
Since the deal, Matthews has started all seven games, averaging 10.3 points in 28.4 minutes while hitting 47.5 percent of his shots. More importantly, the shooting guard out of Marquette is starting for one of the West's powers just seven months after being passed over by all 30 teams in the 2009 Draft.
"It's incredible," Matthews told the Deseret News of his meteoric first season. "It's a testament to all the young kids out there that if you work hard and are ready, good things can happen."
NBA.com's Rookie Rankings are just one man's opinion and are released every Wednesday during the season.

DAYTON — The Xenia Bucs were eight seconds away from having their postseason come to a stunningly quick end.

Like so many times this year though, Xenia came up big when it counted.

Dakota Anderson took Alex Briggs’ inbound pass and hit a layup with just seconds remaining to give the Bucs a narrow 66-65 victory over Meadowdale in the second round of the Division I sectional tournament at University of Dayton Arena Tuesday night.

Meadowdale (11-10) held a 66-64 lead after a Marquece Simmons bucket with under 20 seconds left, but the Bucs (12-8) responded with the kind of magic that helped them win five overtime games this season.

One of those wins came against Fairborn, Jan. 29, and the Bucs used the same inbound pass play on the Skyhawks that they did against the Lions to hit the game-winner.

The play is even called “Skyhawk.”

“We wanted them to overplay on Shane [Eagle], and Dakota slipped through and Alex found him for basically the same play,” said Xenia head coach Kent Anderson. “This was huge. We hoped that winning the league wasn’t going to be enough for them, and they dug deep late in the third and especially the fourth.”

Eagle scored 18 points, Briggs added 14 and Andrew Bolka and Nick Cain each added eight to lead the Bucs, who trailed by as many as 12 points late in the third before coming back. Xenia advances to take on the No. 1 seed Wayne on Sunday, March 7 at 2 p.m. at UD Arena.

The Bucs shot 9-of-18 in the first quarter and led 20-10 at one point, but Meadowdale used its press to maximum effectiveness over the next two quarters to disrupt Xenia’s ball movement. The Bucs ended up turning the ball over 18 times for the contest.

“We had way too many turnovers tonight,” Anderson said. “We’ve got to value possessions more than that.”

Meadowdale was led by Nick Thornton, Richard Weaver and Odis Shine with 12 points each, and Jaquill King added 10. The Lions outscored Xenia 32-19 over the second and third periods with heavy defensive pressure. At one point the Bucs turned the ball over on three-straight possessions during a 14-0 Meadowdale scoring run late in the third, but Xenia gained some momentum of its own by ending the period on a 5-0 scoring run of its own off buckets from Briggs and Nick Cain, and the Bucs trailed 46-39 heading into the fourth.

Meadowdale opened the scoring in the fourth with a bucket from Shine, who had eight of his 14 points in the final period, but the Bucs reeled off seven-straight points — highlighted by a Shane Eagle old-fashioned three-point play — to get within two. Eagle later hit another and-one on a layup to give the Bucs a 51-50 lead with five and a half minutes left.

“[Eagle] was knifing his way to the basket — he’s a slasher — and he does such a good job of it,” Anderson said.

After Eagle’s basket, the two teams traded the lead nine more times before Dakota Anderson’s game-winner.

Now the Bucs move forward to face a Wayne team that’s suffered just two losses this season, only one of which came from an Ohio team.

“We’ve got to take care of the basketball, have a big night defensively and we’ve got to knock down some shots,” coach Anderson said. “We have to limit their runs and stay with them. If we’re in the game in the second half, these kids truly believe they can win the ball game.”
