Will I be able to do something about my MOS?

I enlisted back in May of last year and picked 03XX for my MOS field. Well at the time thats what I really wanted to do. Now many months later I realize that I want to gain a job skill. So I thought about becoming a MP. So I call my recuiter up asking if I can push back boot camp a few months (I guess you have to be 19 to be a MP) so that when am in boot camp ill turn 19. (This is my last year of High school and am 18) He said no cause you cant be enlisted for more then 365 days. (June 14th is when I leave)

So am disapointed that I cant do that. Is there anything I can do I really want a MOS field which am going to like before I go to boot camp.
