You are right, let's start with the the deficit, even though Bush mispronounced words not on a teleprompter, his year to year deficit was only 200Billion. Go ahead and add up what ours has risen to in the last year and what it is going to be by the end of the year, that is why this is merely comic relief.
By the way, the comment about Parkinson's is extremely offensive and lacks all maturity one may expect. If you want to argue you point do it with facts not with ignorant comments.

However, Bush is also responsible for starting a BS war with Iraq, ignoring the true threats out of Pakistan and Afghanistan as a result. For what gain? The Iraqis didn't ask for Democracy and as soon as we leave here it will evolve into a secretarian civil war...that is assuming that the Iranians don't step in to help re-establish the Shiite majority. What about the other nations begging for help? For democracy? Zimbabwe has been in famine for a decade now, millions dead all because of a "president" who abuses his power. There are dozen's of countries that are ripe for our help, but here we are. $750,000,000,000 ****ed away in Iraq for what?

And in the end instead of being objective and carefully trying to fix the financial situation, his government just started throwing money at it (true a policy being carried on by Obama). Actually the housing crash was caused by over-regulation. I'm an architect and can tell you for a fact that the banks were forced to give loans to the "less fortunate" even though they knew they would end up in forclosure. Read about Carter's Community Reinvestment Act if you want to know what caused this.

I wasn't just bashing Bush to bash Bush. I was just showing that all of our Presidents have done stupid things during their occupation of office. And Yes Clinton let millions die in Rwanda. I'm sure we could pull an example from every president to date.
I'm not really one to debate politics because I just don't care. I am neither Democrat nor Republican. I stay out of it because of the unadulterated hatred and discontent I see each side display towards the other. I only comment time to time when I see one side having (what I believe to be) an over reaction. When someone then explains their passionate and justifiable reason (Like Capt Kirk did), I drop the issue.

I become insensed at anyone defending people who don't give a S**t about my Marine Corps and its brave COMBAT troops.
Lord O has not the time nor the inclination to do the right things for outr military UNLESS it servesd his selfisn political carreer. I would love to see a law passwed that only COMBAT military can serve in the Whitehouse instead of this Harvard Hore.

IMO Corpsman have one of the most demanding jobs in the Corps. So the CnC not pronouncing Corpsman correctly should be taken as an offensive act. Of all the people in the U.S. he should not be the one screwing that up.

I don't really care for politics, but I do believe that anyone who tries to run for office must have at least served their time in the military. You can't lead a nation and have the power of our military if you don't have any idea on what actually happens in a war.
This wasn't an act of disrespect. He was praising the sailor. This was ignorance. He doesn't know how to pronounce corps.
I've known a few Marines who pronounce Corps the same way Obama did. Does that mean they don't care about Vietnam era Marines? No. It means they're ignorant to the correct pronunciation.
