Switching MOS

Im a poolee obviously already dep'd in and signed on my mos. (aviation mechanic) and i was wondering if i would be able to change that. i was kinda rushed on my decision because my recruiters 3 years was up and he wanted to get it done. also he assured me id get my first pick, of course i didnt and i didnt put enough thought into my back ups. thanks

Have you talked to your recruiter about this yet? (you're new recruiter)

Tell him/her that you'd like to be placed into another MOS field and explain the situation to your recruiter. Be persistent

thing is i got a new recruiter then mysteriously he got sent back to the fleet and we dont really have one right now. we work out with random recruiters for the time being

Please read the rules of the site and correct yourself. Yes you can switch jobs if there open. I was switching over to infantry but they were all taken when I was going to do it. Just talk to your recruiter.

You're suppose to type posts like you're typing an essay. You didn't capitalize some words there.

There's usually someone at your Recruiting Station that's above the recruiters, like a GySgt. You should probably talk to him then.
