I understand the need to belong as much as the next guy but....seriously go re-enact WW2 or something. I avoid wearing dress uniforms unless I got a legit reason, or if I need them for the job.

Just to let you know, you are posting in the wrong part of the forum. Open Squad Bay is for Marines Only! Read the headings over each forum for a guide.
You can post in the Marine Family and Marine Corps Recruit forums only. And read the site rules in the poolee forum.

I'd be curious to hear the story of the Santa tho...gotta admit that's a neat outfit LOL.
The 'Master Gunny' was later busted for upgrading himself to LtCol. Showed up at his HS reunion and an Active Duty NAVAL officer dimed him out because he 'didn't look right'. I think he's since been convicted for violating the Stolen Valor Act.
Dork poser enlisted twit wasn't reported (the NCO LCpl/PFC whatever the frak) as far as I know.
