If you all live where the moon has not risen yet nor obscured by clouds, peel yourself away from the puter and look to the east. According to my GarminOregon400t it's not quite full but 31k miles closer than "normal" :nerd:

It's a,"Wolf Moon." Mars should be the reddish thing a little to the left of the moon.

Clear night over Denver, spectacular sight. That is one bright moon.

Saw it,,,, thru the veil,,,,,,no Mars though,,,,too many clouds.

Wow, what a bright moon, looking east and almost looking straight up, here in South Florida. It's like a turned on flashlight. There is a very bright star off to the left had side but that's about it right now. It is not the largest moon that i have never seen down here but it is one of the brightest. There are no hounds baying as yet.
No can see,to much clouds,storm moving in........

At 23:30, after watching the news....went out onto my 7th floor balcony, and MOONED the MOON!!! Suppose' to be the closest and brightest for at least a year!!
