Now, in absolutely no way do I mean any disrespect, but I would like to know any possible accounts of violence directed towards civilians.

Now this could be in any time period seen by a Marine experienced in Korea, Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan. But the question is, if you've seen this violence, who was it directed towards (men, women, children, or even animals), and why?

Thank you for reading, and thanks to anyone who could shine some knowledgeable light on these horrific events.

No profile, no answers.

And, quite frankly, WHY do you want to know?

I know it may seem odd, but I'd like to hear a credible source.

But quite frankly, tell me, what isn't worth knowing about?

If you have seen something, please share, I'd like to know. Thanks again.

"Hey, I am a stranger. Would you all be so kind as to incriminate yourself or some friends for war crimes, you know, just for sh!ts and giggles".

Even if there were Marines that intentionally harmed non-combatants for whatever the reason, what in the world makes you think think would openly post it here?

Oh ya, and the "With all due respect.." line doesn't work, no matter how you word it.

Failure to fill out a profile will get you *gone*. I can hear the incoming already.

And quite frankly, the answer is a resounding "Not only NO, but Hell no".

This question ranks right up there with:

"How many people have you killed"

"How was it over there?"

"Did you get shot?"

You don't rate to ask those questions.

Marines don't ask those questions to each other for the most part. It's bad form. In civilian-speak, rude.

Stand by for heavy rolls....
