Mark McGwire admits to using steroids

One of baseball's most celebrated and controversial sluggers has decided to come clean.

In a statement to the Associated Press, Mark McGwire admitted to using steroids when he broke the major league home run record in 1998. He said that he used steroids for nearly a decade and that he was remorseful for his actions.

"I wish I had never touched steroids," McGwire said. "It was foolish and it was a mistake. I truly apologize. Looking back, I wish I had never played during the steroid era."

It was a clever guise but after a few months of my own daily produce juicing realized there was just not enough punch and protein in a handful of greens and carrots to build McGwire-Sosa-Bonds like sluggo guns.

The only thing shocking here is that he admitted it. Hopefully they can continue to clean up all the sports out there and show these kids that you can train naturally and don't need quick fix drugs.
