Tech school in Pennsacola

Hi my name is Nicole and i recently got engaged to my boyfriend of 5 years. he graduated boot from Parris Island Dec.11,2009. He reported to MCT in North Carolina on Jan.5,2010. His MOS is Avaition Mechanic. He was told tech school is in Pennsacola. I heard that school for that MOS is backed up. if so what does he do, does he get RA for a little bit after MCT? And does he get leave in school?

He can, but he'll have to request it. More likely they'll just have him in a holding platoon doing working parties until he classes up.

For leave, again, he'd have to request it. He may or may not be able to get it.

Thank You. Im wondering about leave bc i was hoping to have our wedding Labor Day..but i know his school can be pretty long.. so i guess we will just see..
