I want to join the USMC but I have a tattoo and Im not sure of the regulations. I have a confederate flag below my rib cage on the right side. I do not have it as a representtion of racism. I have as a symbol of southern lifestyle. The tattoo is about the size of a soda can. Would I have any problems?

Thanks for the quick reply. I have searched but have not found anything specifically on how a confederate flag is viewed. I will also fill out my profile more later as I am on my phone at the moment.

No as long as it doesnt show outside your PT gear you will be fine. It might require a waiver but either way it shouldn't cause you too much hassle.
