BAM, she nailed it.

Your school will be about 3 months long I believe.

I have no idea how Reservists work, but for AD Marines, you will, at some point, maintain a computer network. You may have to set the network up, or it may be setup when you get there. Some places you may not have alot of work to do other than putting in NMCI requests for other Marines, while at other places you may have alot of work to do and you tell them to do it themselves.

You will *probably* work with and learn to troubleshoot issues with

MS Server 03
MS XP
MS Exchange 03/07
MS SharePoint
Cisco Switches/Routers
GD TACLanes

As for interesting stories....
Sometimes we get to take computers away from Co 1stSgts and CO's because it was used to look at porn. Thats always interesting.

One time I had to explain to a MajGen that the Cat5 needs to be plugged into the laptop before it will have internet services.

That's about it.

Thank You WMarine and MD8724! That is pretty interesting that CO'S would be looking at porn, but thanks for the insight.
