Well, turns out my son, Donald is not a match for my daughter, Sarah, 6 points of 8, which I'm not too sure what that means other than it was close, just not close enough. The hospital said they are starting a search on the marrow registry now to find a match.
They gave me some info to give family members and friends if they care to get tested. Insurance does not cover non immediate family, they only cover brothers and sisters. But you can get it done for free through donor facilities. If you care to help out you can call 1-888-298-6375 for information on a donor site near you, or click the link below.[/font]
