Hey everyone im new to the forum. I have a couple of questions if youve got answers. Im meeting with a recruiter tomrow to go over things, but as of right now im 100% sure i want to be a marine. Im about 10 pounds overweight so i know im going to have to get a DEP, but thats fine for me ill work it off. Anyways i wanted to ask any marine, former Marine, once i hit my target wait and the recruiter thinks im ready, how long does it take to ship my ass straight to boot camp. Lets just say i grew up with the bad kids, but finished high school, and im looking to get the hell outa here. I know the Marines is the branch for me, im looking into combat MP or artillery.

SO basically to sum up my rambaling. How long does it take from the time you sign into 4 years, to get shipped to boot camp and get things rolling.
And any combat mp, Whats it like?

First, you are posting in a forum that is for Marines only. Read the headings over each forum. Your questions should've been asked in the Ask A Marine forum.
Second, when using the words Marine or Marine Corps, they will be capitalized at all times.
