I am an infantry Marine with a 6 year enlistment. I was wondering if anybody had any information on how PCS to I&I duty after my second deployment. Is that possible or am I stuck in a victor unit for my whole enlistment(I have already done one deployment to Iraq). Any information or advice would be much appreciated.

If you are what we used to like to call a bonus baby then you must complete your entire contract in your MOS else forfeit the bonus. I&I generally is more accomadating for clerical MOS's. You support the reservists, make sure they get paid, keep SRB's up to date, manage orders etc. Not much room for a young 03 in that mix.

yeah, NO. You need to be a Sgt and get Screened in order to go by your command.

It is an independent duty station where you will be doing more than just your MOS and will goto many schools for other things.

If there are openings they are taken by SNCOs in your MOS I'm sure since they are career Marines and not some kid who wishes he could get un"stuck in a victor unit" the rest of his enlistment.
