Has anyone been on a PSD team in either Iraq or Afghanistan? If so, what was the job like? What did you have to do? What were the daily operations?

I was on a PSD team in Iraq for the CG, DCG and ground combat element CG. I enjoyed the job. You do what ever your VIP needs you to do. Take him to meetings, provide security while he attends dog and pony shows and things like that. You're basically at his beck and call.
The Op Temp varies greatly. Sometimes we would go out 6-7 days in a row and other times he wouldn't need us for 4-5 days.
Its a cool duty, you get to travel to important places and meet VIPs. You can make alot of contacts for the future.
