I think I want to be a Marine for 20 years, did any of you Marines go in thinking the same way then stop after your first years of service. If so why?
Another question is in boot camp how do you get PFC?

You can be a contract PFC by having college credits, being JROTC(?), eagle scout, prior service, might be a few more..??...
you can pick up PFC at the end of boot by your Senior Drill Instructor for being a company or platoon honor man, guide, squad leaders, holding a small billet, high PFT, rifle range, or just being a squared away recruit. It all depends on how many PFC slots they have that they can fill
