I go to meps on tuesday and i have flat feet and about two years ago i got perscribed foot inserts not because of pain just because my mom made me get them but anyways i havent worn them for about a year but my question is at meps do they ask if i ever had foot inserts and if i say yes would i be dq'd?

Don't remember if they ask that, but it shouldn't be a deal breaker. I have what a doc called "chronic flat feet". They actually made me custom inserts a couple years ago because running/humping put me in so much pain.

In recruit training you'll be able to buy some generic inserts to help with your arch while at the Depot.

The only foot insert you have to worry about is the one in your mouth.

Flat feet used to be a diqualifier....now I don't think so.

From all the humpin' and bumpin' in the fleet and carrying the weight if your arches have not fell by the end of contract you are lucky.

Not sure about boot camp but as the Cpl said in the fleet they do make inserts and brace prosthetics for varying conditions.

If you become an MP they can call you Flatfoot!
