Hello Marines/poolees/wannabes, I know this is a question best suited for my recruiter but I currently can not get in touch with him. I am scheduled to go to MEPS on Monday with all my paperwork saying I want active duty but I want to change it to reserves. If I can't fix this with my recruiter today would I be able to change it with the Marine Corps liaison at MEPS? Any information would be great. Thanks in advance.

This has been posted before, but here you go. It's beer friday.
Yes you can still go to MEPS and take your physical, swear into the DEP and all. You can then switch to reserves prior to your ship date. I suggest you tell your recruiter before you go to MEPS though or get in touch with his NCOIC. I know the recruiter will be picking you up for MEPS and you can tell him then, but I suggest you call ASAP. STill go to MEPS either way because recruiters have to schedule you to go and if your a no-show that is very bad. You can tell the liaison and what he/she will probably do is call your recruiters NCOIC. Good luck
