I got out of active Feb 2009, and am in the IRR until Mar 2010. I'm going to college using the Post 9/11 bill. I want to go active reserves so that I can still serve while going for my degree. Is there a way put the Post 9/11 bill on hold if and when I deploy with a reserve unit, or can I not stop it once I start using it. I tried contacting the VA, but I can't get a straight answer. Any response would be greatly appreciated. If you need more info, let me know. Semper Fi.
