I have a few questions on inspections, i am really concerned about because they really never told us any thing about how inspections go at mos school or in the fleet.

Iv been searching but really cant find alot of detailed information on inspections.

1. How often are junior Marines inspected?
2. When do you stop getting inspected?
3. What does a inspection consist of (what uniform are you in, how long, types of questions asked)
4. what happens if you fail(how hard is it to fail)?
5. are the inspections harder/stricter than the Battalion Commands inspection at bootcamp?

Any additional information on inspections will be helpful

If you really are a Marine, then you really need to get in-touch with a mod ASAP and get your status changed from Poolee to Marine.

I agree with ecom, except I'd break it down a bit further and say it's up to those appointed directly above you. Your NCO might just want to be sure you have your chit ready for the Ball and go to the barracks to inspect you, the unit will probably know nothing of it.

If thats the case then you might want to take Grammar and Spelling for Marines.

For #2, it stops if you earn a Medal of Honor.

In the Marine Corps you are constantly being inspected 24 hours a day 7 days a week 265 days a year. Better learn to live with it.

Or once you obtain Supreme Galactic Commander...then the CMC has to listen to you.

Most of the inspections I've been through really ain't that formal, but it all depends on the unit. The inspections for PME school (ex. Corporal's course) will be pretty strict- measuring chevrons and such- but regular unit inspections will probably be pretty laxed. Some units will have inspections all the time while others rarely have inspections, all depends on the unit.

I've inspected Marines a few times before, and it was nothing like what they do in boot camp. It was very informal, I just made sure their chevrons weren't horribly chipped and no big ass holes were present in their uniform. If they met these requirements, they passed with flying colors.

That's what happens when you get old and your fingers get tangled up.

I guess the other 100 days can be free time.
