A Question About the Marine Corps Reserves

Right now i am a Junior in High School. I want to join the marines, but other than that i don't know what to do with my life. So my question is, is it possible to join the reserves and than switch to Active Duty? I would join Active straight up but I just want to have a chance to think about what i want to do, but i also want to be in the Marines. Answers or advice? Thanks.

Marines will always be capitaized!
And use the search bar first....amazing things happen when you do. Sometimes you will find the answer to your questions by doing this.
