Something doesn't make sense to me. If you or your recruiter thought this was gonna be an issue, then why are you signed up for it? Shouldn't you know right now if you are eligible for a clearance, or that specific MOS?

And can you really sign up for presidential duty? I never knew that. Is this new?

To answer your question. For a regular secret clearance this will not be an issue, but for presidential duty I do not know if this would be an issue. I am gonna guess that it will be an issue.

USCFIGHTONUSC:
Ya i told my recruiter about it so i guess your right about it probably not being a problem. As for signing up for it they gave me a list of the MOS i was qualified for and they had Marine Corps Security Forces (Presidential) listed as well as Marine Corps Security Forces (FAST). So i guess will just have to wait and see what happens.

LASWMarine:
Thanks for the links! I will probably be able to find my answer somewhere in there.
