I'm thinking about trying to be a Combat Engineer. I like solving problems, fixing things, creative thinking.. My grandfather was an engineer and he instilled his way of thinking in me. Would I be in a platoon with infantrymen when I'm out on the job? I want the strategy and training involved in infantry. Something with a good mix of guns and blowing **** up would be ideal. Any suggestions?
