Good Morning Marines!

Today I am to take my first IST. I have been running doing push ups and crunches to get ready for it, but no pull ups!!

Surprising I have no place to do pull ups, well no place that is free. I have NO money at the moment. So I wanted to know if anyone here knows any alternative workouts to pull ups that will work the same muscles.

I have been doing the push ups and some curls,someone told me that helps.

But if anyone can give me some advice it would be greatly appreciated.

If you can't do pull-ups, try super wide and super tight push ups. Working your triceps, biceps, and lats will definately help.

There's always a place to do pullups. Go to a playground and do them on the monkey bars or something.

you can also goto your recruiters office. they have a pull-up bar.

Take two chairs, put them side-by-side. Lay a sturdy bar across the chairs and lie on your back underneath the chairs, so your chest is below the bar. Pull yourself up to the bar, using your arms so your chest hits the bar. Improvise, adapt, overcome.:usmc:
