I failed to mention.............

I don't know for sure, but I'd bet that Tom Petri, author of the newly released "Lightning from the Sky, Thunder from the Sea" will be there.

And, Steve and Ron Selig plan to attend, or at least Steve will. Ron was with 2nd ANGLICO during the mid-50's. Steve is a published author who is working on a book regarding ANGLICO's entire history, including even our precursor JASCO and the old pre-Korean War (no number) ANGLICO. He's doing this in honor of his dad, Ron.

Steve hopes to interview and shoot the bull with lots of ANGLICO Marines, to get a better feel for the unit and to gather material for his book in progress. He's already made three or four trips to the east coast (Quantico, NARO, etc.) conducting research. Recently, he received news that his requests for our classified records from the Korean War will produce results. They will be declassified. I'm hoping that will include the rubber rafts into Pusan, days before the landing, and the covert low-altitude jumps into North Korea.

Oohrah!
