Im now scheduled to ship 20100607 and my MOS has been changed from 0231 to Security Force. Its another MOS I had picked out of my top three. Any Marines wanna give me some heads up and advice on Security Force? I know they guard Nuclear Submarines and Naval bases and ships I know that much.
Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Actually your MOS won't be Security Force. Your MOS will be infantry.
You do boot...go to 8 weeks at SOI and then head out to your Security Forces school. Unless the assignment process has changed...you'll spend 2-3 years with Security Forces and then head back to the fleet to finish out your term as a grunt.
And Security Forces is what it sounds like. You provide security.
*Disclaimer* I wasn't SF...I just knew some guys who came back to the fleet who had been on SF duty..
