Hello Marines,
I have a paid for cruise to the Bahamas 6 months after I am schedule to be finished with Boot, SOI & MOS school (if everything goes as planned). What are the chances that I will be deployed that soon after my training is complete?
I paid for the cruise back in 2008 before I signed up... I have a feeling I might have thrown a bunch of money away. My family is going to kill me...:(

Can you get someone to go in your place on the cruise so your money isn't gone to total waste?
As for being deployed, that's something that you'll just have to wait and see on. A lot of things can happen between now and then.
Are you going Active duty or reserves?
Active duty= Get your money back now.
Reserves= Good luck. If you go, hit up a casino, you'l probably win some money....
Bottom line, get your money back... Or send Jody in your place....

Hey what does that mean? Good Luck as in no hes not going on the cruise, or good luck as in Have fun on the cruise?:D
Good luck meaning that he has a better chance to go on the cruise than if he was on active duty, and if by chance he does end up going to the Bahamas, he should go to the casino down there because lady luck is on his shoulders....

Why would you book a Cruise in 2008 and not have gone yet, don't people book Cruises because they can't wait to go???
In my experience on this, 30 day refund, after that it's a credit voucher good for only 1 year from date of purchase and additional fees apply if Rates go up.

Why would you book a Cruise in 2008 and not have gone yet, don't people book Cruises because they can't wait to go???
