Phil Does The Marine Corps Pull-Up Challenge
You all know there are all kinds of rides, games and 4-h exhibit at the Sioux Empire Fair, but you can also see if you have a little of what it takes to be a Marine.
Marines like Gunnery Sergeant Benson from the Sioux Falls recruiting station will be there all week with a challenge for you. "What we're doing is the Marine Corps pull-up challenge. It's a recruiting effort. We're looking for a few good men and ladies to join the Marine Corps".
The guys let Phil Schreck have a go at it and he barely, and we mean just barely, managed five pull ups.
They felt a little sorry for him and gave him a cool Marine Corps T-shirt.
You're really not supposed to get one unless you get up to twenty pull-ups!
