I kept looking at the calendar today and couldn't place it. August 11, 2009. Couldn't place my finger on it, then it hit me.
20 years ago today I graduated Boot Camp at Parris Island and earned The Title, Marine. 890811.

20 years. Dayum! I can still pass a PFT...BUT it'll be ugly. How much time does a 39 year old get nowadays for 3 miles...I'll need one minute less than that!

I was sitting back thinking; damn, i would've hit my ten year mark this year... I would've been half way done... why the hell did i get out????
