I'm trying to find out if a particular MOS exists in the Marine Corps Reserve. The MOS that I am interested in is Russian cryptologic linguist, 2676. I am particularly interested in knowing if this MOS is available at the Intelligence Support Battalion located in Aurora, Colorado.
The problem that I am running into is that I do not currently live in Colorado; however, I will be moving there within the next six months. I have spoken to a recruiter in my current state, but he couldn't answer questions about MOS's outside of the state.
If anyone is in the Marine Corps Reserves or knows someone in the Marine Corps Reserve in Colorado, I would really appreciate knowing if this MOS is available in Colorado. I would wait to speak to a Marine Corps recruiter in Colorado when I move, but I'm running short on time to enlist due to my age. The maximum enlistment age for the Marine Corps Reserve is still 29, correct?
If I know the MOS exists in Colorado, I will make a special trip down there to speak with a recruiter. It will be a check out neighborhoods/look for housing/join the Marine Corps vacation.
