Next someone will want to know how many guns you have plus the serial numbers. Then when they start making us turn in our guns, they know who has them, and where they are at. If we don't bring them, they come get them. Any car thieves out there knows where to come get a car, or truck now. They can just pick the one they want and bingo........

Yea no doubt. Pair-e-noid to the max.
Not to mention we don't lock our doors, except usually at night, so if someone wants to steal something they can come right in. They should be aware, however, that 2 of our 4 dogs may have an issue with it, Lucy, a Newfy, who is a big goof but has some strong jaws and the one they need really worry about, Bazooka Joe, a PitBull. Bazooka gets an attitude towards strangers it seems.

Ron, thats great for you there. Some really nice Friends you have. But, around here the city has ordinances that make you responsible for Dog damage, even for thieves. I just have 3, 2 in the back yard, and one inside as an alarm, so I can take care of any problem. All of the vehicles and mowers are nice. Mikes Motocampermobile is really nice too. The 1st I have ever seen. Hope DOC keeps his Vett, as once its gone, its difficult to get back. Semper Fi.

Seriously, a couple of years ago things would have turned out much differently for Sean Taylor, of the Washington Redskins - if he only had a dog or two. Absolutely mandatory if you're somebody like him with a big expansive residence to have a few dogs roaming the area. Good dogs can smell sh*t from a mile away, and will scare the sh*t and initiative of even the most hardened of criminals. Screw paying for Brinks Alarm Co., each month.... spend your money on some food for a few good dogs, and sleep tight.

I have a Chihuahua, that will sit in my lap or beside in a recliner, as he is now. Just don't get too close or touch.
He rides in the Jeep as nice as you please. I generally leave the windows down to go in the post office. Invariably, some purple hair lady will walk by and coo about how cute he is. When I get back out, Chico is raising bloody hell, and the purple hair is rocked back on her heels. He gets a treat when I get back in the Jeep.
Chico has no fear. He weighs 4.6 pounds and thinks he is a pit bull / rottweiller mix.

Thank you Rocky, same here for sure. Bernie that is a nice one, very nice. I believe in my senility, names are going fast. I had the chance to get a Vette, but blew it. One of my lifes regrets. I have a '90 F-150 4x4,and a '74 F-100 4x4. Those years '89,'90,91, the paint wouldn't hold to the primer, so it looks raged, but for a $1000., it'll shine again. My wife has a Crusier, and a Cad. Between Homes Insurance(5), and vehicles insurance(3), bout to apply for food stamps, but will keep them. My '90, FS-1800 Bass Tracker, blue flake, was damaged by vandals for the copper.(less than 300 hours on it). I got everything except the trolling Motor back. I'll take it back to Springfield, and let them re-build it for about 3-4 thousand plus. That was the last year they made it. Looks like Jimmy Houstons Boat, except his is Ranger. All the mobles show we still have Class for sure. A Big OOH-RAH. Semper Fi.

Hey Ronnie, as I previously posted, my wife has a 76 and 73, she likes the 73 but I like the 76 because it has side pipes, (non factory of course). The one thing about the 76, it gets hot as all get out in the cab of the car. The air isn't hot blowing through the vents. The engine internal engine temp where it should be.
Not sure if the headers in the engine bay causes the heat to radiate through the firewall? The headers are treated btw.
Oh well, this is a cool thread.

As for the trans am, I know the last year was 2002, that's why I stated an 02 Black WS6. The LS7 headers fit on the LS1 small block, and depending on the headers you'll need a new gasket for it to fit right. The LS motors were way under used on the final generation camaros and trans ams, GM could have squeezed way more out of them.

Good to hear!!!
Thats funny you said that about the "TROPHY BABE". When I started this thread I thought for sure someone was going to say " Rocky, this is what I drive and I drive it Fast and Hard " and Post some Bimbo in a Bikini laying across there Corvette.
Too Funny!!!
In a couple of weeks I'm going to list the top 5 cars of my old favorites and see if anyone posted them.
Semper Fi,
Car Guy Rocky :D
Isrowei & I both drive Ford Focuses (Foci?). Mine is an 04, Titanium Green, with all four windows tinted the darkest tint I can legally have. lol - I like to go incognito in the Mama-mobile. (Ok, well, seriously, it's easier on the kids' eyes in the bright sun.)
Isrowei's is a bright red, 05 Focus ZX4. It has a sportier engine than mine. The dual overhead cams give it a bit of zip that mine doesn't have.
I name all of our cars after Beatles songs, so mine is named Maggie Mae & his is named Strawberry Fields. Which he does NOT like, because he says it sounds like a drag queen.

Wifey's '03 Taurus (boring!)
That's enough to keep me broke...

Be careful there Idena, there is an old joke, two gals in a photography studio, the photographer got under the cloth, the 1st lady asks, what is he doing, the 2nd says, he's gonna focus, the 1st says, bofus.
So, focus, foci, I think not. . :D

In my old age I am driving a simple little Ford Ranger...got a special deal when our state allowed returning Iraqi & Afgani Vets to purchase a vehicle tax free.
Doc - you still chasing women? That car says "mid-life crisis." Told my wife 20 years ago I was going to trade her in for two twenty year olds...She told me I wasn't wired for 220. Almost 43 years and I still can't get rid of her.
RI - ever go down to the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green KY...they have a great display of Corvettes...Remember the TV Show Route 66?....The original Corvette from the show is there. If you are ever down south, make a point of visiting it.

Thanks Bro, I spent a lot of time (and quite a few paychecks!) on the both of them. I rebuilt the CJ7 pretty much from the frame up, she was my high school project and the Rubicon was stock when I got her in 2006.
Here's an older pic of my Rubicon. This was the weekend after I installed the lift.

haha, glad you asked :)
the CJ7 came with a blown inline 6, the 258. I found a Wagoneer with a healthy 304 V8. Haha, long tube headers with glass packs and turn-downs in front of the rear tires. What a sound, she didn't purr, she GROWLED. not to mention she could light up those 35's with ease

As for the Rubicon, all I've got is the Edge Attitude kit. I know I've got a picture under the hood somewhere but I can't find it at the moment.

Yea Rocky, threads kinda move around subjects...cars and tattoos go together...plus ya gotta throw in hot babes too. :D
Yea I have one pec piece on the left, then on the other side its a half a chest piece, (I think thats what its called)? From the pec down to my belt. Most of my work is Asian, except for my kids portraits on my back, a USMC dedicated area and my 60's sit-com characters area.
As you know Rocky, never, never, ever get your significant others name or portrait anywhere on your body...unless you want to split up from them in short order...its bad juju.

It sure is, my wife hates it though. I gathered the parts over the last 8 or 9 months. We were going to do a build off in my company after we got back. The only rule was anything under 5K was admissible. Well the cap went away and so did our deployment. So I really got into it buying parts here and there. A majority were bought off ebay. The centerpiece was a 1966 shovel, I didnt go with it but still have it for sale along with a set of leaf spring forks. We doing another workup for Afghan now so my time was tight so I had a good friend put it together for me, I helped when I could. Here are some pics of the build up.

I had an eclipse for the longest, after I got done with it, it sucked gas. Traded it for the Kia, and honestly been happier with it. Four doors, lower insurance, about the same space, better gas mileage. I drive about 1000 miles to/from work every month, and I keep my gas bill pretty low cause of it :D

What do you guys think of the New Camaro?
Looks kinda cool, just hate it to become a cheap throw away after 5 years.
Yep! 281ci/4.6l V-8 DOHC, 5sp manual.
The thing that was an instant sell for me was the operational "shaker" hood. I don't think there has been a car made with a shaker hood since the late '60s/early '70s. Since '04, Ford has put one on the '08(?) Parnelli Jones Mustang (give-me-a-ticket orange with black striping) and sells the kit as an after-market product now as far as I know... I'd like to see some new Dodge Challengers and the new Camaros sporting the shaker hood too...

Have you seen the PRICE of the new CAMMY'S??....SS=$39K!! Every one I've looked at is OVER $35,000.00!! GM did the same thing to the GTO...jacked up the price, and killed the marque!! The new CAMMY is almost the same size as the original, BUT the V8 is a 6.0, or 6.2.....WTF?? I suspect the motor is REALLY a de-stroked 400cu.in. from the 60's. My 68 GOAT had a Ram-Air 400 with a close ratio 4 speed, and Posi. It cost me $3,800.00!!! WHERE'S THE JUSTICE????....DOC

Doc, didnt the small block 400 have siamese cylinders that would warp under hot loads?
Vir, that's awesome. Take a look at SMS Supercars (Steve Saleen's new company). He's got a challenger, camaro, mustang, and (I think) a charger. I don't remember if any had functional shakers, but those cars are supposed to have balls. For a price, though.
I hate the new camaro. I think the styling is a pretty nice throw back, but it looks like cheap plastic. And to get the SS2 package or whatever (the 'best' package), like Doc said, costs some stupid amount of money. I don't understand why the manufacturers are trying to force their pony cars to compete at the vette/viper level (which, I know, aren't on the same level themselves), as far as price goes anyway. It doesn't make sense. People want an affordable sports car with decent handling, nice looks, and a big v8 that has lots of potential. Building the motor, suspension, et al. is half the fun of a car. Why would I want to buy one of the new Saleens or anything like that with nearly (or over) 1000hp??? Where's the fun in that? Granted, they're specialty cars, but there's still no reason for a 40+k camaro SS.
And why the hell did Ford get rid of SVT? What's with Shelby mustangs being the top of the line, factory mustang? Who the hell can afford that? I want to see a 2010 SVT cobra. Not a 2010 Ford Mustang SVT Shelby Cobra GT500 or whatever the hell they're calling this now. Even if it's supposed to be on par with the 2008 GT500 KR. Bah!
Nice cars, everyone.

No, I think he was responding to another post.
I have owned this 'Cuda since 1975 (I bought my first one in 1967 but BofA snatched it when I fell behind on a loan). I purchased this car from a neighbor who hated the car but it was all he got from his divorce. Since his wife loved the car; he did his best to destroy it. I purchased the car for 500 dollars and repaired engine and drive train as best as I could. I drove this car every to work day until '96; when some jack A$$ almost careened into me. I parked it in the driveway and drove the GMC. Then in 2004 I completed the work on a new garage, pulled the ‘Cuda in and began the transforming into a muscled up street car. I will get it repainted this winter and then start restoring my daughters 64 Falcon.

This is my carriage. Bought it new. This 2009 Suzuki SX4 Crossover has automatic transmission and a ZERO Maintenance Timing Chain, a big selling point for me. It gets about 22 to 32 miles per gallon (I average, so far, about 24.4 miles per gallon just driving around). I still prefer hand operated windows, which this vehicle doesn't have, but I don't mind the navigation system that came with it. Here are a few plus pictures, the last one showing what really drives this car and gives it ummph.

Then back 70 and up to 90 and on to Deadwood, then Rushmore, and down through Yellowstone.
I set my mpg thingy before I left.
Pulled into my garage and it read 22.1.
That was overall for the trip.
Not too shabby.
