On my weekly trip to the Community Veterans Memorial Park in Munster, Indiana.

I was looking for two paver bricks that my American Legion post has sponsered.
I saw one that had this quote;
"REMEMBERANCE...The greatest gift"
I thought that was apporiate for a memorial to all the men and women that served in all our wars of the 20th century.
REMEMBERING THEM...is the greatest gift that we can give.
The reason for my weekly visit, first to get some exercise peddling my mountain bike and to observe if any mementos have been left.
Today, the 50th year since signing of the armistice to end the Korean war, was a day of heavy rain.
Part of this memorial park is dedicated to the Korean War.
Would have liked to render some honors to all that fought and died in the war known to some as "Our Forgotten War".
To the vetrans of that war, it will never be "Forgotten".
