Until you fill out your profile, nobody will be likely to talk to you. Go to the POOLEE HALL, do a check in and read the rules and regs of the site.
Good luck in your journey to be one of US! And, for future reference, Marine Corps is ALWAYS capitalized.

No profile, no answers.
Read the rules in the Poolee forum and the Ask A Marine forum.
And if you want to go to basic training, join the Army. It's boot camp in the Marine Corps.
And Marine Corps will always be "capitalized".

Go to this site. http://www.mcrdpi.usmc.mil/training/index.asp
It'll give you a training matrix of boot camp.
Wake up, shave/head call, get dressed, clean, eat chow, wait for bus/march to training area, eat chow, train, senior time, eat chow, hygiene, free time, sleep, repeat.

There are busses on the Island?
only for laundry recruits.... but other than that... never saw them being used.

when the fvck did the CORPS start using buses at either PI or Diego?
Quebec Co. used bus's, since we were far from everything else. I've seen 4th Bat use them too when I was in BMP.
Quebec is 3rd Bn right? I never used it except when we went to the rifle range barracks and when the linen recruits went to do linin.
so what did they use it for? we humped everywhere in Lima.
Quebec is at the range, SSgt, so we've used to to the RTF and to BWT, other then that we marched.
they put you guys out at the range!!! where did other Marines stay during the range?!
In the barracks near ours, there was like 20 of them at the range. Q Co barracks were the 2 closest ones next to the ISMT thing.

i was in the USMCR for 4 years.. i want to go back and go active duty, will i have to do bootcamp again, will i keep my awards, im a OIF Vet, and worked hard to earn what i got. any feed back would be nice, i wouldnt mind going to bootcamp again. i was a 1371, and got out as an e-3, ive googled and binged ha ha but no useful info, so let me know.. i miss it bad.
The only question I can answer for you is that you do not have to go back through boot camp since you've already completed it in the Marines.
Best of luck to you.
goto the VA forums... then look around there.

any and all medals and awards earned during previous hitch will always be authorized when you reup. Now you may or may not be able to keep your rank depending on the needs of The Marine Corps. Just ask a local recruiter and it would probably be a good idea if you showed him your dd-214

You're going to eat a lot, run a lot, clean a lot, and drink a lot.
