A little fun for Marines in Iraq

STAUNTON — In 2007, along with a lot of help from her community, Kim Smith sent 40 Supersoaker waterguns to Iraq. Her son was on his first tour in the Marines. He is now on his third tour and has requested more waterguns for his new unit.
The Marines consider the waterguns a welcome break from the stress they endure everyday and a relief from the hot desert sun.
