Drury and Clavin to continue "Fridays at Five"

Authors Bob Drury and Tom Clavin, the bestselling authors of “Halsey’s Typhoon,” will speak about their latest collaboration, “The Last Stand of Fox Company: A True Story of U.S. Marines in Combat,” on Friday, July 24, at 5 p.m. at the Bridgehampton Community House Sag Harbor Turnpike. The authors will appear as part of the “Fridays at Five” series to benefit the Hampton Library in Bridgehampton.

Mr. Drury is a contributing editor and foreign correspondent for Men’s Health magazine. He has reported from numerous war zones, and his last book, “The Rescue Season,” was made into a documentary by the History Channel. Mr. Clavin is the author of eight books, including “Dark Noon: The Final Voyage of the Fishing Boat Pelican.” He is a frequent contributor to the Southampton Press.

Tickets to the lecture are $15, and can be purchased at the door or at the library’s temporary location on Montauk Highway in Bridgehampton. Admission includes beverages and hors d’oeuvres prepared by the volunteer friends committee members. For more information, call the library at 537-0015.
