For the Record: ‘Study of Professionalism’ Report
Editor’s Note: An article by Contributing Editor Don Vandergriff published in DefenseWatch magazine on July 15, 2003, cited the then-controversial and now-famous 1970 Army Report, “Study of Professionalism,” which addressed a number of serious problems in the Army’s officer corps during the Vietnam era. That report, which contains a number of lessons pertinent to the U.S. military today, has now been posted online for the first time. We at SFTT and DefenseWatch encourage everyone concerned about the quality of leadership in the Army and other military services to read this report.
