It seems that more and more people are joing the military partly due to the fact that the economy is in a current crises. It also seems that the restrictions for entering the Corps is much higher...

PT and ASVAB won't make that much of a difference. You sound like a good candidate for a waiver. Just don't do anything dumb in the meanwhile, and be patient. Waivers take time.

Thank you Sgt, I really hope I can get in. I am willing to wait a year if not even more! At this point as long as I get to hold that EGA in my lifetime. Thanks

If you committed the crime as a juvenile, just pay the 30 bucks to get your record scrubbed. Kids do dumb things, it's expected. You might have a problem getting a security clearance, but most Marines are violent anyways.
