All right Leathernecks! I know there's a good chunk that have been to this little place:

It was a pilgrimage I thought I'd have to pull teeth to make, but turns out we had it planned as a Squadron PME :D

I can't even imagine, It must have been crazy standing on that beach!
Iwo To (pronounced, toe) now... jima is not used officially in japan.
Yeah I know... but I'll call it that when they change it on our War Memorial... Which hopefully will never happen :D
And it was still Iwo Jima when my boots tread those sands :D

The battle for Hue, the battle in the IaDrang valley, the battle for 881S, the battle of Khe Sahn....ANY COMPARISONS??? Terrible intel in the battle for Iwo....and crappy intel for those battles in Viet Nam.
