Janet Hoffpauir doesn't want to miss a moment on the phone with her son Lance Corporal Brandon Hoffpauir.

Janet's a part of a support group for family and friends of those serving in the Marines.

But when you talk about the troop withdrawal, there are reservations.

"I think the pull-out is going too maybe give some families a false sense that the war is over." Patricia Fruge said.

"For our family and soldiers nothing's change. They're not coming home. They still have their tour to finish and our hearts are still heavy." Sandy Thornton said.

The group started three years ago to provide emotional and spiritual support for women like Patricia and Sandy.

Each parent tells a story of what its been like while their child is overseas.

For Thornton, her son Douglas is on his second deployment to Iraq.

She says she is still getting over the idea of Douglas not being around.

" I'm a nervous wreck. I go weeks without hearing from him. I need the group as much as a mother who's son is in boot camp." Thornton said.

Most of these moms agree it was a difficult to see their child to a war-torn country.

But now, more than ever, they feel it's time to support our troops.
