Well everyone another great day in the homecoming from Afghanistan. I just found out today that I have been meritoriously promoted to Corporal. Just waiting to get pinned. Pretty excited and if you see me in the near future you'll know why I am limping...:marine:

personally I never did like meritorious Marines... Don't be that guy picking up each rank meritoriously, it's intended for good Marines who (at higher ranks) just barely missed it.
I don't want this to be negative towards your promotion, I'm happy for you! Congratulations on beating out the competition, I know it can be tough! Now give'em hell and go get some at that new Cpls Course.
