Highway to be dedicated in honor of Marines

The Marine Corps Memorial Highway, S.D. Highway 79/385 from Rapid City to the Nebraska border, will be dedicated in ceremonies at 11 a.m. today, June 14, just south of the Catron Boulevard exit. After the ribbon cutting and remarks by dignitaries, the gathering will attend a luncheon at Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1273 on Main Street in Rapid City. The state Transportation Commission helped with the designation.
