My mom took a lot of drugs when she was pregnant with me and so I have a few birth defects. I was born with no knees and walk like frankenstein. I have six fingers on one hand and four fingers on the other. I have a nervous twitch possibly caused by the bi-polar drugs and athsma inhaler I use. I'm 5 feet tall and weigh 400 lbs. I can do one sit up and half a pull up. I'm working on getting more fit. Do you think the Marines will take me?

Hahaha you should DEFINITELY be good. I've never heard of a better candidate. Deployments would probably be a lot nicer for you...depending on which hand has the 6 fingers ;) If you don't like the job you have when you get to the fleet...don't worry about it. All you have to do is blame your recruiter and he'll go ahead and change it to something of your liking. Deployments are a choice, and you can choose a vacation style deployment or or a cruise. Once in a while though you might get screwed into a combat tour. Don't worry about it though because it's very rare and you don't really do anything on them anyways. Just don't forget to pack your ridilin and zoloft. They don't like it when you're off your meds.

I know exactly what you're talking about. So here's my little point of view on the subject.
It's no longer expected that a child grows up with discipline already instilled in them...everything from the choices they make to the way that they carry themselves. Then when they finally do achieve some level of discipline, no matter how miniscule it is...they have a sudden sense of pride in themselves. Sure it's great for them...but it's complete BS for all of us looking back and thinking that they should've never been in that position to begin with. You know what I mean? I'm not trying to say that I grew up in a different era at all...They are part of my generation and it honestly disgusts me. I do my best to fix it though...when they get to me when they finally do get to the fleet...I take care of it :)

That's a toughie, you can waiver just about everything, but like Covey said you'd need that tat to be visible while wearing any uniform.

Ask your recruiter if he can bring a MOPP suit to your house so you can try it on; I'll warn you though, it may be hot in there but you need to make sure your tat is visible while wearing. You're very busy posting on here without a profile and asking us questions in a disrespectful tone; that's why he should be nice enough to bring it to you and leave it there no questions asked.

I have syphilis and I just found out....everyone was wondering what has been effecting my brain cells all these years.

When I was 9 I was diagnosed with ADD and put on Ritalin but I don't think I really have it because like I stopped taking the medicine in 8th grade and I haven't like had any problems since.

I have been to three different doctors and they tell me that I am not slow.

Then I took the ASVAB test and I'm in denial....but soon I will have to face reality that I am a dumbazz!

Now this makes me sad if I can't join the Marine Corps...but I can like live with it,because my friend said I can join the Army.

Is he right?

I am 27 now and I am trying to DEP.

I talked to a recruiter over the phone but like he couldn't understand me....because when I was younger I think the crack I smoked made my vocal chords turn to mush.

My recruiter told me not to tell anyone and just see what happens with a place called MEPS.

Is he lying to me?

I know that honesty is best but I am really torn on who to listen to.

I want my MOS in the Marine Corps to be Intelligence, or a sniper reconnaissance man do you think this will effect me in any way?

I'm sry if this is a lot of questions but my recruiter didn't give me the right answers that I was looking for. He said that if I had asthma, i was disqualified. I told him that I didn't have any records past when I was 12, but he said they probably wouldn't take me. I've also been diagnosed with mild depression, which I'm on medication for. Will this effect my ability to join?

Hello, my name is John-a, I'm Bulky's 14 year old pregnant girlfriend. I have a few questions; I'm already 100 pounds overweight and have a 2 year old already. My child's father, my brother is taking care of him/her/it. Do I need a waiver for that?

First, don't bother with the profile. Only Big Al will give you hassle, and if you're a chick, you can bribe him with boobie pictures. (you know it's true Al!)

If you're overweight, it's ok. Your sister will still like you and your momma will still wipe your patooty. The Marine Corps will give you a waiver up to 160lbs and your drill instructor will fireman carry your butt through the IST. Have another donut. You earned it.

Tattoos are a great way of expressing yourself. If you're a guy, you should get a tattoo of random tribal signs with a foreign language you don't understand (and you make up the meaning for). If you're a girl, get cat eyes over your hoo-hoo. Guys, if you're sensitive, you can get kitty eyes too. Your Drill Instructors will understand. Sleeves are not ok unless you got totally ****faced and then only if of a naked sailor. Your Series Commander may look at you funny, but you'll earn a special place in the heart of your 4th Hat. Cherish these moments.

Racks are for community togetherness. Invite a buddy or two to share yours at every opportunity.

Church is for suckers. Chapel is for the wise recruits. Suzy rottencrotch recruit from 4th Bn will amaze you with her ability to belt praise and worship in a frog voice. Marry her in MCT. Foxholes are good with a buddy. Especially a buddy who rubs your back.

Showering with 80 of your closest guy friends may seem scary at first. Don't worry, sooner or later you'll realize that you all have scrawny asses and limp dicks.

Finally, remember that all Marines here are your friends. In fact, you can call them "Bro, Homey, Dude, Ma Shanaynay, and Peaches" on any occasion. Except for Marine84. Please call her "Miss Kitten". She likes it. She really does.

i want to be a marine, and i like chocolate too. i am almost 27 and have a bachlers degree on underwater basket weaving im not really sure if its an acreddited college but my friend from the salvation army recruitng station says it is. im a little over waeight i weigh 340 and my goal is to loos some wiat by walking my block once a day, rite now its way too hot so i might just try and do sit ups, i can only do one. my interests are surfing the web and reading. my mommy said i could never join because its againts her religion. i want to go to OCS because i think i can lead marines, i do have 2 dogs i lead around the house is that ok? Even though a Marine on this site whose name is DrillInstructor told me not to bring a cell phone or an address book, I don't believe him so I'm gonna bring my cell phone and address book. Can my mom ride the plane with me? She called my congressman and I can get in with no teeth and 20/4,000 vision. My recruiter was lying to me. I'm a 4 foot tall female but want to be in the infantry and on the silent drill team. I've already told all my friends I'm in the Marines so I hope I graduate boot camp. Only 92 lbs to go. If I watch people running on tv will that help me improve my run time?

hey,that watching people run on the tv really does work.i just got done watching some college track and field thingie and i feel like i can run so much faster now. wow.oh and i even watched richard simons dancing to the oldeis and i lost a bunch of weight too.this is just amazing what can happen when you watch the tv.for all you peoples who need to get better on your run time and lose weight, watch the tv.it does work.it's fast and easy.

i wanna thank all the marines on here for there service but im gonna go ahead and ask a question thats been addressed 1,000 times then argue with every marine that tells me to fill out my profile.i really respect you guys and wanna be in your marine corp but since this is the internet i can say w/e the fvck i want to you and sip mountain dew and play call of duty with my buddies and laugh about how i argued with a Sergeant of Marines with 2 combat tours and told him he was stoopid and got away with it because the internet saved me from him placing a windage flag outside my door and waiting in the prone 800 yards away with a AR-15 like the one in call of duty 4!!

I wanna join the marine cops someday, but I am currently 10 feet tall, have arms of a monkey who masturbated to much while eating bananas. A recruiter once told me that I could get a waiver I wanna drive Tracs, or Tanks, but i have really big head and ears that looks like a camels hump on steriods that would poke out of the driving area, and i i also wanted to become the badest marine cops scout sniper recon marine one of my pfc friends who just gradumated from basic training told me that i could get in with that waiver and become a sniper after finishing basic i dont care what you marines say on here or call him a boot he is a new marine cops so he has the most current accurate information out there. so i hope you all can answer my questions. thanks for your service marines i respect you all.

I want to join the Marines so after smoking 5 pounds of dope i came on here and was like these dudes r badassness and then i read that i can become a 007 ninja scout sniper man.
